Zalia Zyprus is the newest addition to the Zalia Retreats collection of stylish holiday homes. Architect-designed to make the most of the panoramic mountain and sea views, it’s a perfect place to relax and unwind, just a short walk from the small, quiet rural village of Pano Akourdaleia.

Traditional tavernas in the neighbouring villages serve quality local food with true Cypriot hospitality, while the resort towns of Paphos and Polis offer good restaurants, bars and shops. Clear blue seas and quiet beaches are plentiful here, and all are within a 20-minute drive. It’s an ideal base for families and couples alike.

The House

The living space is on the first floor to take full advantage of the sweeping views over the infinity pool, mountains and distant sea.

Bedrooms

All three bedrooms are on the ground floor, with quick access to the pool.

• Main bedroom: super king bed and ensuite with bath, with spectacular mountain views from the bed and a glimpse of the sea from the private terrace.
• Second bedroom: king-size bed with pool and mountain views, opening onto the pool terrace.
• Third bedroom: twin beds that can be made up as a king, with direct pool access.

The second and third bedrooms share a walk-in shower room.

Living and Dining

The spacious living area has comfortable seating for everyone, satellite TV with international channels, and good Wi-Fi throughout. The open-plan dining area has a large table that suits relaxed family meals as well as a more formal dinner.

The living room opens onto a large shaded outdoor dining area with views of the Troodos Mountains and the sea in the distance, ideal for hot summer days.

The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped, with a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Large sliding windows open onto a balcony overlooking the pool and mountains.

Pool and Gardens

The infinity pool suits confident swimmers and beginners alike, with a shallow paddling area and safe, graduated steps.

The landscaped grounds include olive and citrus trees. Help yourself to fresh oranges for breakfast juice and lemons and limes for evening drinks.

Comfort

The house has air conditioning throughout and a wood-burning fire for the cooler months.

Sustainability

We keep investing in making our homes more sustainable. The hot water is solar powered and we keep plastic to a minimum.
